All my cosplays are hand-made by me and inspired by the video games I love to play. To me, cosplay is a multi-layered form of creativity because it involves a lot of problem-solving, customization, and self-teaching. Through these projects I have taught myself and solidified my skills in: sewing, digital & physical drafting, pattern-making, thermoplastics, woodworking, raspberry pi (soldering/wiring hardware and coding software), painting, sculpting, resin-casting, photography, & modeling. This is my first cosplay! Here I am as the Roller Derby skin for the character Nova in the game Heroes of the Storm. I debuted this cosplay at Blizzcon 2014.
Here I am as the Kandy King skin for the character Muradin in the game Heroes of the Storm. This character is based off of a male model so I was able to have a little bit of freedom and creativity while still remaining accurate. I had an absolute blast building this and wearing it. I even got to meet the designer of this character and the lead developer of the game thanks to it!
I debuted this cosplay at Blizzcon 2015.
